Dropbox Connector
Dropbox cloud storage platform. Syncs file and folder metadata, shared folders, and team members via the Dropbox API v2, whose endpoints are POST-based RPC calls with JSON bodies.
What syncs
The Dropbox records STRAX brings into your hub.
Each kind of record is mapped once to your company model in the STRAX hub, then kept current in every system that needs it.
Files & Folders
Shared Folders
Shared folders the account is a member of, via POST sharing/list_shared_folders; continuation uses sharing/list_shared_folders/continue with the returned cursor.
Team Members
Members of the Dropbox team, via POST team/members/list; continuation uses team/members/list/continue.
Dropbox data in your own SQL Server, then wherever it is needed.
STRAX is a self-hosted integration platform. The Dropbox records land in the STRAX hub, a SQL Server database on your own servers, where your reports, portals and workflows read them. From there the hub delivers them to the other systems you connect, whether those run on SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL or another API. STRAX signs in to Dropbox with an access token that you provide, stored encrypted.
