Before you start
Shortcodes and alphanumeric sender ids go through approval with each country's networks. Start with the sandbox, and apply for the live sender while you test the flow end to end.
Steps
Each channel installs disabled, so nothing is sent before these steps are done.
Create the app
Create an Africa's Talking app, starting with the sandbox app for tests.
Store the keys
Enter the username, shortcode or sender id and API key in the Africas Talking credential.
Set the service address
Point staging at the sandbox and production at the live service in the Reach settings.
Connect incoming messages
Enter a callback token, deploy the inbound workflow and set it as the incoming messages callback.
Enable the channel
Register the channel as enabled after a sandbox message arrives.
