Reach API
Setting up Reach API
Install, issue a key per application, publish and hand over the contract.
Before you start
Decide which applications will call Reach and what each may do. A key per application keeps access narrow and makes each one visible in the metrics.
Steps
Each channel installs disabled, so nothing is sent before these steps are done.
Install the package
Install it after Reach Core; the API arrives as a draft over the Reach workflows.
Issue keys
Subscribe one key per application with the scopes and limits it needs.
Choose the address
Keep the installation address or add a hostname of its own with a certificate.
Publish
Publish the API when the keys are handed over.
Hand over the contract
Give each application its key, the base address and the OpenAPI document.
OpenAPI is a trademark of its owner, named here only to identify the service this package connects to.
See it on your own systems.
A demo takes an hour, on your data landscape rather than ours.
