Bird
Setting up Bird
The Bird workspace key, region, senders and received-message webhook.
Before you start
Check that your workspace is on Bird's current platform and note its region. Create an API key for Reach alone so its traffic is easy to spot in Bird's logs.
Steps
Each channel installs disabled, so nothing is sent before these steps are done.
Create a key
Create a workspace API key on Bird's platform.
Store the key
Enter it in the Bird API credential and set the region host and senders in the Reach settings.
Choose a default
Pick SMS or WhatsApp for addresses without a prefix.
Create the webhook
Deploy the inbound workflow and create a webhook for received SMS and WhatsApp events with its address and token.
Enable the channel
Register the channel as enabled after test messages have landed on both channels.
Bird, MessageBird and WhatsApp are trademarks of their owners, named here only to identify the service this package connects to.
