Setting up Push via Firebase
The Firebase service account and token registration for push notices.
Before you start
Confirm which Firebase project your production app uses and that the app sends its registration token to your back end after sign-in.
Steps
Each channel installs disabled, so nothing is sent before these steps are done.
Create the key
Generate a private key for a service account with the messaging admin role.
Store the key
Enter the whole key file in the FCM Service Account credential.
Register tokens
Have your app upsert its registration token as the client's push identity.
Set the title
Choose the default notification title per environment.
Go live
Deploy the dispatcher, enable the channel and send a test notice to a staff phone.
