Setting up Rocket.Chat
The bot user, outgoing webhook and token that connect Rocket.Chat to Reach.
Before you start
The partner's Rocket.Chat administrator creates the bot user and the outgoing integration. Share the inbound address with them and ask for the integration token and the bot's user id in return.
Steps
Each channel installs disabled, so nothing is sent before these steps are done.
Create the bot user
Create a bot user with a personal access token and note its user id.
Store the details
Enter the token in the Rocket.Chat Bot credential and the server address and bot id in the settings.
Add the outgoing webhook
Deploy the inbound workflow and add an outgoing integration for direct messages that posts to it.
Save the webhook token
Enter the integration token in the Rocket.Chat Webhook Token credential.
Enable the channel
Register the channel as enabled after a test message.
