Teams channel posts

Setting up Teams channel posts

The Workflows flow, its address and the escalation contact for Teams channel posts.

Part of Reach Outbound only

Before you start

Ask your Microsoft 365 administrator which account should own the Workflows flow and whether the Workflows app is allowed in the target team.

Steps

Each channel installs disabled, so nothing is sent before these steps are done.

Create the flow

In the channel, open Workflows and create the flow that posts when a webhook request is received.

Store the address

Copy the flow's address into the Teams Channel Webhook credential.

Create the contact

Create one Reach contact for the channel with a readable label as its address.

Enable the channel

Register the channel as enabled and send a test post.

See it on your own systems.

A demo takes an hour, on your data landscape rather than ours.
