Microsoft Teams
Setting up Microsoft Teams
The Azure Bot, Teams app package, messaging endpoint and identity mapping for Teams.
Before you start
Your Microsoft 365 administrator creates the Azure Bot registration and approves the Teams app. Bring them the list of permissions and the messaging endpoint address, and agree which users should see the app.
Steps
Each channel installs disabled, so nothing is sent before these steps are done.
Create the Azure Bot
Register the bot and note the app id, tenant and client secret.
Package the Teams app
Build a Teams app with the bot and install it for the people who should reach you.
Store the credentials
Enter the app id, app type, tenant id and password, and set the Teams service address for your region.
Set the endpoint
Deploy the inbound workflow and use its public address as the bot's messaging endpoint.
Enable the channel
Register the channel as enabled after a test chat.
