Zendesk mirror
Setting up Zendesk mirror
The Zendesk API token, the signed webhook and the reply trigger.
Before you start
Create a dedicated Zendesk agent for Reach so its comments are easy to recognise and exclude from triggers.
Steps
Each channel installs disabled, so nothing is sent before these steps are done.
Create the Reach agent
Add a dedicated agent and create an API token for it.
Store the token
Enter the agent's email with the token suffix and the API token in the Zendesk API credential.
Add the webhook
Create a signed webhook to the reply workflow and store its signing secret in Reach.
Add the trigger
Send public agent replies on tickets tagged reach to that webhook with the documented body.
Start mirroring
Set the account address, deploy both workflows and test with one WhatsApp conversation.
Zendesk is a trademark of its owner, named here only to identify the service this package connects to.
See it on your own systems.
A demo takes an hour, on your data landscape rather than ours.
