WhatsApp via Clickatell
Setting up WhatsApp via Clickatell
The Clickatell integration, reply callback and security header for WhatsApp.
Before you start
Ask your Clickatell account manager to confirm the WhatsApp channel is active on the integration you plan to use, and note its integration id and API key before you start.
Steps
Each channel installs disabled, so nothing is sent before these steps are done.
Check the integration
Confirm the WhatsApp channel is live on your One API integration and copy the integration id and key.
Store the key
Enter the integration id, your WhatsApp number and the API key in the WhatsApp Clickatell credential.
Secure the callback
Choose a strong secret, store it in Reach, and add it as the X-Reach-Token security header on the Reply callback.
Point the callback
Deploy the inbound workflow and paste its public address as the Reply callback URL.
Enable the channel
Register the channel as enabled after a test reply lands on your test contact.
