Setting up Google Chat space posts
The space webhook, its address and the escalation contact for Google Chat posts.
Before you start
Check with your Workspace administrator that incoming webhooks are allowed for the space, and decide which space should receive client escalations.
Steps
Each channel installs disabled, so nothing is sent before these steps are done.
Add the webhook
In the space, open apps and integrations and add an incoming webhook.
Store the address
Copy the webhook address into the Google Chat Space Webhook credential.
Create the contact
Create one Reach contact for the space with a readable label as its address.
Enable the channel
Register the channel as enabled and send a test post to check the threading.
