Google Chat
Setting up Google Chat
The Chat app, its service account and the HTTP endpoint for Reach.
Before you start
Pick the Google Cloud project that will own the app and note its project number, which Reach uses to check every event.
Steps
Each channel installs disabled, so nothing is sent before these steps are done.
Enable the Chat API
Enable the Google Chat API in your Cloud project and create a service account with a JSON key.
Store the key
Enter the key file and the project number in the Google Chat App credential.
Configure the app
Deploy the inbound workflow and set its public address as the app's HTTP endpoint, with the project number as audience.
Choose who sees it
Make the app visible to the client organisations that should use it.
Go live
Enable the channel after a test direct message arrives on a test contact.
