SMS

Setting up SMS

Provider choice, keys and reply webhooks for two-way SMS in Reach.

Part of Reach

Before you start

Sender ids and number types differ by country, and some countries only allow replies to local numbers. Confirm with your provider which senders can send and receive in each market you serve.

Steps

Each channel installs disabled, so nothing is sent before these steps are done.

Pick the provider

Set the SMS provider setting to Twilio or Clickatell.

Store the keys

Fill in the matching credential with the account id, sender and key.

Connect replies

Deploy the inbound workflow for your provider and point its reply webhook at the public address shown.

Set the link number

Add the number in the Reach settings so link codes open an SMS to it.

Enable the channel

Register the channel as enabled after a test message.

See it on your own systems.
